Ombre Brows and Powder Brows is a cosmetic semi-permanent makeup technique using a device similar to a tattoo machine designed for the use of implanting semi-permanent pigment. Using a shading action a soft powder effect is created giving the appearance of makeup.
Unlike body tattoos which use ink, Ombre/Powder Brows is a cosmetic tattoo using pigments. These pigments are designed to fade over time which allows the artist to make changes to the colour or shape over the years as required.
This treatment is perfect for those who often wear brow makeup or pencil in their brows. Those who struggle to create symmetry with their brows this is the solution! No more smudged brow makeup at the gym or swimming pools either.

How long does it last?
The treatment is classed as semi-permanent and will fade over time. To keep your brows looking their best a touch up is recommended every 12–18 months. The speed in which they fade will depend on a few factors:
Pigment Colour – Lighter colours will fade quicker.
Skin Type – Oily skin will fade faster.
Anti-ageing Products – Products which contain ingredients such as Tretinoin (Retin-A) and Alpha Hydroxy will cause the brows to fade quickly as they increase cell turnover rate.
Does it hurt?
We try to ensure we do all we can to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. The treatment can feel scratchy so if you are sensitive then we suggest applying Emla numbing cream 60 mins before your appointment. This can be purchased from us during your consultation or from any chemist off the shelf.

How long is the appointment?
Allow for 2 hours maximum. A large part of the appointment is measuring and mapping out the brows which the client is involved with every step of the way. The follow up appointment will take approx. 1 hour.
Is the follow up appointment included in the price?
Yes, a follow up appointment 6-12 weeks later is included in the price to ensure the brows heal perfectly and the colour is even throughout the shape.
